Directions to Hartford County 4H
247 South Road, Marlborough, CT

From Hartford Area:

(Approx. ½ hour)
Take Rt. 2 East to Exit 13 (Rt. 66). Bear Right off the ramp onto Rt. 66 West. At the next light, turn left onto South Main Street. Travel 0.7 miles and bear right at the fork onto South Road. (Please note, there is no road sign, but there is a noticeable forkin the road). Travel 2.2 miles and turn left into Hartford County 4H Camp.

From Springfield Mass Area:

(Approx. 1 hour)
Take I-91 South toward Hartford. Take Exit 30 onto I-84 West. Take Exit 55 onto Rt. 2 East. Take Exit 13 (Rt. 66). Follow directions above.

From Waterbury/Danbury Area:

(Approx. 1 ½ hours)
Take I-84 East to Exit 27 (I-691 East) toward Middletown/Meriden. Merge left at Exit 11 onto I-91 North towards Springfield/Hartford. Take Exit 25-26 onto Rt. 3 North toward Glastonbury. Then take the Rt. 2 East Exit. Take Exit 13 (Rt. 66). Bear right off the ramp onto Rt. 66 West. At the next light, turn left onto South Main Street. Travel 0.7 miles and bear right at the fork onto South Road (Please note, there is no road sign, but there is a noticeable fork in the road). Travel 2.2 miles and turn left into Hartford County 4H Camp.

From Stamford/Norwalk/Bridgeport Area:

(Approx 1 ½ to 2 hours)
Take I-95 North to either Merritt Parkway North (Rt. 15) or stay on I-95 North. If taking the Merritt Parkway, take Exit 68N-E onto I-91 North. If taking I-95 North, take Exit 48 onto I-91 North. Once on I-91 North, take Exit 25-26 onto Rt. 3 North. Follow directions above.

From New York City:

(Approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours)
From either East side or West side, get on I-95 North towards New England. Stay on I-95 North towards New Haven. Take Exit 48 onto I-91 North. Get off Exit 25-26 onto Rt. 3 North. Follow directions above.

From Boston Area:

(Approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours)
Take I-93 South onto I-95 South toward Providence, RI. Take Exit 4 onto I-295 South toward Warwick/Woonsocket/RI. Take Exit 6/Rt. 6 onto Hartford Ave (Rt. 6). Turn left to follow Rt. 6 West. Rt. 6 West becomes Rt. 695 South. Merge onto I-395 South. Take Exit 82 toward Colchester/Hartford. Turn right onto West Town Street. West Town Street becomes Yantic Road. Take ramp onto Rt. 2 West toward Hartford/Willimantic. Take Exit 15 (South Main Street) toward Marlborough. Bear left onto South Main Street toward Marlborough. Turn left onto Garden Lane. Turn left onto South Road. Hartford County 4H Camp is on left.

From Rhode Island Area:

(Approx. 1 ½ hours)
Take I-95 South to Exit 22(C-B-A) onto Rt. 6 West toward Hartford. Take I-295 North/Rt. 6W Exit onto Hartford Ave. (Rt. 6A) toward Foster. Turn left onto Rt. 6 West toward I-395. Rt. 6 becomes 695 South. Merge onto I-395 South. Take Exit 82 toward Colchester/Hartford. Follow directions above.

Bus and Train Information:

Amtrak trains and Buses have services into Union Station, 1 Union Place, Hartford, CT. To make reservations: Amtrak (800-872-7245) or call for Bus information (Peter Pan, Greyhound, Bonanza) at (800-343-9999). The camp is approximately ½ hour from Union Station in Hartford.
