September’s weather can be unpredictable, bringing warm days and chilly evenings. It is recommended that you pack clothing for both warm and cool weather and you may want to dress in layers. Here’s a list of other items you may want to pack:
- Please bring photo I.D.
- Lots of water and additional snacks
- Coolers and ice
- Bed linens
- Sleeping bags
- Towels
- Wash cloths
- Drinking vessel to save on cleaning
- Personal toiletry items
- Children’s supplies
- Good walking shoes – for rough terrain
- Rain gear
- Flashlight and extra batteries
- Bug spray
- Sun block
- Ritual tools/clothing
- Drums, rattles, shakers, etc
- Clothing for Saturday evening’s Feast
- Clothing for Friday evening’s dance
- Over the counter medications
- Prescribed mediations
- Ear plugs - we cannot control those who snore
If you are not on the meal plan:
- Food and drink for 4 days
- Camp stove – no open camp fires allowed (no cooking in or near your cabin)
- Additional snacks
Medical Supplies
Please bring your own first aid kit. A medical staff will be on site during the gathering. This individual is available for assessment only, not treatment. If you require medical treatment during the gathering, you will be brought to the nearest emergency room. Even though a medical staff person is available, we will not be able to provide over the counter mediations, etc. Please make sure you pack your own Tylenol, band-aids, allergy medication, poison ivy ointment, ace bandages, etc.
