A Note to Our Prospective Speakers

We would like to thank you for your interest in speaking at Harvest Gathering. Each year, we receive many inquiries from people interested in speaking at our festival, and we ask that you carefully review the following information before submitting a proposal.

Please take a moment to review the following guidelines:

• We request that each submission include a bio, a picture, and at least three class proposals.
• We ask that you demonstrate your ability to speak on the subject matter for which you are submitting your proposal. Please include organizational affiliations, published essays, articles, a list of other festivals or conferences at which you have previously lectured, academic or professional achievements, or anything else that you would like us to know.
• We will accept a ritual proposal in lieu of a class proposal.
• The question of cost is often an issue for speakers. If we accept two or more of your lecture proposals, the cost of the entire event is waived. If we accept one of your classes, we will discount your registration fee.

As a final note, we usually book our speakers VERY far in advance. Our event ends in  September, and we generally have the majority of our speakers confirmed by November.
