GWAERON views his three core roles as that of Warrior/Mage, Seer, and Healer/Priest. These practices encompass a broad five fold weave of a myriad of skills and trainings, including: Celtic Witchcraft and Wicca, Northern European Magicks, Martial Arts and Tibetan Bön Buddhism/Sorcery, Wilderness focused Shamanism, and Western Mysteries/Ceremonial Magick.
As a martial artist of many years, he has attuned himself to the flow of energies/Spirit that a Ninjutsu+ artist needs to direct and control. His education in the manipulation and control of energy fields (Chi/Ki/Magick) was greatly enhanced by Buddhist teachings. The meditative techniques of mind control that he learned, along with his engagement of Tibetan Sorcery, Necromancy, and Shamanism, form key portions of his magickal foundations.
In addition to his Eastern mystical-martial background, Gwaeron has studied the Western Mysteries for many years, receiving several initiations, including his third degree in Celtic Witchcraft. Gwaeron practices his various arts in the NJ- NYC region, and is the Steward of a networking/training community known as The Northern NJ Pagan Fellowship. He is a current and/or past member of a Gardnerian coven, The Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, The Foundation for Shamanistic Studies, The Builders of the Adytum, Ltd, The Rosicrucian Order, The Fraternity of the Hidden Light, Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF), the OTO, the Bujinkan Dojo, and a few other private magickal groups and dojos.

Rob made his first drum in 1986, in the very early days of the hand drum phenomenon in this country. His love for percussion and people grew, and soon he was exploring every aspect of ethnic percussion. Now, he makes and sells drums, teaches, gives seminars, runs drum building workshops, and owns Primal Beat Percussion, a 20+ year old drum company, as well as Imagicka, an eclectic shop in Binghamton , NY . It is his calling, and he gave up a job as an electrical engineer to focus on bringing percussion to the people, and feeding the growing drum circles in the U.S. The drum circle is empowering, as everyone has a place, everyone is a musician. His goal: to help break the paradigm that music, spirit, and magickal experience are for a very few, and that the rest of us are destined to be the audience. This illusion must end. Step up, participate, and get involved with the creation of your own life. |
