Here is the vendor page with instructions.
basically, you make a directory for the pics.. you can do that in the Media Manager. You put the images in there.
then you make an article and you put the tags {*becssg}gallery_name{/becssg*} in there ( without the asterisks) and you are stylin'.
I happen to have found this really nice free plugin - service called Pixlar that can help those without software optimize their images.It has alot of what you get in Photoshop but is easy to use and when you save your images, they are optimized: http://www.pixlr.com/
